On this episode of Divine Intervention we are joined by Julie Woodley of Restoring the Heart Ministries.
After a childhood filled with physical, mental and sexual abuse led her into a lifestyle of prostitution and promiscuity, Julie was brought to despair and to the brink of suicide. She nearly killed herself, but Julie experienced a dramatic divine intervention that saved her life, and through a series of miraculous events, Jesus Christ eventually rescued her and restored her life.
Today, Julie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York and a Certified Trauma Counselor. Julie has a BA in Christian Education, an MA in Counseling from Liberty University, and a Certificate in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary.
Julie founded Restoring the Heart Ministries, Inc. is a 501©3 non-profit organization that exists to share the truth and healing power of Jesus to those who are broken by various traumas and to provide hope for the future. She co-authored Restoring the Heart with Mathew Woodley, Post-abortion Trauma with Mark Kreutschmer, and Surviving the Storms of Life with Mathew Woodley and Dr. H. Norman Wright. She also wrote the curriculum and co-produced the DVD series In the Wildflowers.
Julie's dramatic story has been aired on radio by Billy Graham's Decision Today, Focus on the Family, The 700 Club, Unshackled of Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, Moody Broadcasting, American Family Radio as well as other stations.
