Episode # 15: Paraplegic from birth miraculously healed, Dr. George Baah

In this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by Dr. George Baah, a paraplegic who was miraculously healed. Dr.Baah shares his amazing testimony of how he was born with severe meningitis, and was not expected by the doctors to live. Miraculously, he did survive, but because the disease had spread to his spinal cord, he became learning disabled, and was unable to walk. He was handicapped and in a wheelchair until the time he was seven years old, when he experienced a Divine Intervention in the form of an evangelist who prayed for him to be healed in the name of Jesus. He felt the power of the Holy Spirit on him, and was able to get up out of his wheelchair and walk for the first time! He later grew up to become a track star in high school, winning many marathon championships, and eventually became a practicing podiatrist and minister of the Gospel. Born in the Middle East into a large Sunni Muslim family, Kamal was recruited into the PLO and attended his first terrorist training camp at a young age, completing his first mission into Israel at the age of seven. During his many years of terrorist training, Kamal mastered nearly every form of offensive and defensive terrorist tactic. He eventually became a powerful warlord, taking part in many conflicts, including fighting the Jews in Israel, the Christians in Lebanon, and the Russians in Afghanistan. As a young man, he eventually left his family and home in the Middle East and came to the mission field of America. His goal was to bring down America from within by converting as many Americans as possible to Islam for the glory of Allah. He implemented his plan and succeeded in converting many people to Islam until God performed a Divine Intervention and Kamal met Jesus Christ, and came face to face with a power he didn't know how to fight- Love. In this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by former mob captain Michael Franzese, "The Born Again Don." Michael Franzese was alternately referred to by the media and members of law enforcement alike, as the New York Mob's "Long Island Don" and "The Prince of the Mafia." He was once the primary target of a massive, fourteen agency government task force that "had one assignment----to bring down the Mafia's youngest and most financially powerful new superstar, Michael Franzese." At the height of his mob activity, Michael was "one of the biggest money earners the mob had seen since Al Capone, and the youngest individual on Fortune magazine's survey of "The Fifty Biggest Mafia Bosses." (Vanity Fair Magazine). The son of a kingpin in New York's Colombo crime family, Michael became a sworn, made member of the Mafia at the age of 24. He avoided the traditional Mafia domains in favor of the enormously lucrative edges of the legitimate business world. He masterminded brilliant scams, from auto dealerships to union kickbacks, from financial services to the worlds of sports and entertainment, to a multi-billion dollar gasoline tax scheme, all with the help of ambitious tycoons and his own remarkable shrewdness. His operations in gambling, loan sharking and corporate crime became a target of Manhattan's famed federal prosecutor, Rudy Giuliani, who indicted Michael on racketeering charges only to come up empty handed in court. More indictments would follow, however, and in a dramatic turn of events for the onetime Mob caporegime, Michael decided to plead guilty to yet another racketeering indictment, accept a 10 year prison sentence, and then vowed to do the unthinkable-surrender his life to Jesus Christ and quit the mob. Billy Lamont's new poetry with folk music CD/EP project entitled "Hedge Of Thorns," with songwriter/musician Bill Poulos, was recently released, and Billy shares with us his original poetry, music and personal testimony of his vision of Jesus and his miraculous healing from a serious pancreatic condition.
