lead singer and co-founder of Apologetix, "That Christian Parody
Band." Mr. Jackson shares about his life, faith walk, and some
of the miracles that have happened to him, as well as about the
band and their music. Apologetix has been called "Weird Al
Yankovic meets Billy Graham" as they specialize in making
Biblical parodies out of popular music, ranging from everything
from Elvis to Eminem. Their mission is to "reach the lost, and
teach the rest." Their clever use of humor, high energy live
performances and Biblical lyrics, make Apologeix a unique
band with a large, diverse following. They have performed over
1000 shows, and their online fan club boasts over 85,000
members. They have been featured on both Howard Stern's show,
and Billy Graham's radio show. From the 700 club to the Dr. Demento
show, their music does not disappoint.

Great inteview! Apologetix is one of my favorite Christian bands. It was interesting to hear how similar J's background is to my own. I was also in cover bands in my pre-Christian days and left music completely for about 10 years. I simply lost all interest and desire to play. When I finally accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, the desire to play came back and I now lead worship at my church. Keep up the great work Apologetix and Divine Intervention!
