Our guests for this episode of Divine Intervention are Sarah Van Essendelft, and her father, Joe. Sarah was born in 1993 on Long Island, New York, and raised in a Christian family. When she was eight months old, after she had a reaction to some food her mother gave her, Sarah was diagnosed with an allergy to nuts. This allergic sensitivity to nuts steadily worsened as she got older, causing her to be rushed to the hospital and to fight for her life on many occasions. Over a one year period from 2007 to 2008, she spent a total of 98 days in the hospital. All was not lost however, as after fourteen years of struggling with this condition, Sarah eventually experienced a divine intervention in the form of a miraculous healing and deliverance as a result of much prayer and support from her friends, family, and church community. Today, she is totally healed of her life-threatening condition. She joins us with her father Joe on divine intervention to share her amazing testimony of the miracle healing God performed in her life. This was such a powerful testimony for me to hear and I was blessed immensely by Sarah's story. My four year old son has had a life-threatening peanut allergy since he was a baby (with other allergies as well) and now also has autism. It encourages me and fills my heart with joy to know of Sarah's miracle and blesses my family's journey with our son Matthew. I could never imagine him in a PB&J eating contest but can imagine how awesome this must have been for Sarah and her family! Continued blessings to the Van Essendelft family and Praise God for the beautiful and wonderful gifts of this miracle!
