In this episode, we are joined by "Ordinary Radical," Shane Claiborne. Born in Tennessee in 1975, Shane Claiborne is a prominent activist, author and sought after public speaker. He is also a founding member of “The Simple Way,” a Philadelphia based faith community whose mission is to “Love God, Love People and to Follow Jesus.” In Shane’s Book, “The Irresistible Revolution: Living as an Ordinary Radical,” he shares the details of his story and that of the development of The Simple way. He invites you into a movement of the spirit that begins in the heart and extends through our hands into a broken world. Using examples from his own unconventional life, Shane stirs up questions about the church and the world, challenging the reader to live out an authentic Christian faith. His book will comfort the disturbed, disturb the comfortable and invite believers to change the world with Christ’s radical love.
