Episode # 53: Author/Evangelist Ray Comfort, and Journalist Joseph Farah, Founder of World Net Daily

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by author and evangelist Ray Comfort, and journalist Joseph Farah, founder of World Net Daily.

Ray Comfort is the Founder / President / CEO of Living Waters Publications.  After relocating from New Zealand to Southern California in the late 1980s, Ray introduced a long line of pastors and churches to a biblical teaching which he called Hell's Best Kept Secret.  The positive and enthusiastic response that followed took Ray’s Living Waters Publications ministry to a whole new level.  From humble beginnings, LWP has become an internationally recognized ministry, reaching the lost and equipping Christians with every necessary resource to fulfill the great commission.

He is the co-host (with Kirk Cameron) of the award-winning television program "The Way of the Master," which airs in 70 countries around the world.  Ray is also a best-selling author of more than 60 books. His latest Book, You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence, but You Can't Make Him Think, became a best-seller on Amazon.com's "atheism" category.  Ray and his wife, Sue, live in Southern California, where they have three grown children.

Joseph Farah is the founder, editor and chief executive officer of WorldNetDaily.com, the world's leading independent Internet news source.

In addition, Farah writes a daily column for WND and a weekly newspaper column for Creators Syndicate. He is also the founder and co-publisher of WND Books, a publishing venture that has produced several New York Times best sellers in the last five years.

Joseph Farah made a name for himself with traditional daily newspapers prior to his founding of WorldNetDaily – running the Sacramento Union, directing the news operation of the Los Angeles Herald Examiner for six years and serving as editor in chief of a group of California dailies and weeklies.

Daniel Fazzina, Mark Excel and Jules Ostrander on the Joey Reynolds Show, WOR New York, 2-3-09

Hey, guys! 

I had the honor of being invited back on to the Joey Reynolds show on WOR Radio in New York City to share my personal testimony of God's miracles in my life, and to talk about my book, "Divine Intervention: Amazing True Stories of God's Miracles Today - Volume I."  Mr. Reynolds read my book and was impressed with what he read, and I was thrilled to come back and share a little more both about my book and my personal testimony of how Jesus healed me from a painful chronic back condition and from a large cancerous tumor that doctors said could very well have killed me.  I also brought along two good friends who've had some amazing divine interventions and experienced powerful miracles in their lives.  My friend Jules Ostrander, a cattle rancher from Nebraska, shared how God directed him into ministry in New York after 9-11, providing for his every need along the way, and how God healed his body on several occasions.  My friend, Mark Excel, a missionary from Nigeria, shared his testimony of how he heard the call from the Lord to go and be a missionary, but refused to go, and how he died and was taken by Jesus and shown both hell and heaven.  After being dead for nearly six hours, all the while people were praying over his dead body in his home, he was sent back to earth and came back to life, answered the call and became a full time missionary and minister, telling people about the good news of Jesus Christ and sharing his amazing story with whoever will listen.  Both Jules and Mark were guests on Divine Intervention in the past, and their shows are archived on this web site.  To hear their full, unabridged testimonies, scroll down and click the links to listen.  Jules was on episode # 30, and Mark and his wife, Ann were featured on episode # 2.  Jules' testimony can be found in written form in my book, Divine Intervention...Volume I, and Mark's testimony will be featured in Divine Intervention...Volume II, due out later this year.
