After growing up fatherless in a poor neighborhood in Georgia, and a childhood full of anger, rebellion, delinquency, and juvenile hall, Ken wound up in a group home run by Bob Shamrock, a man renowned for working with misguided youths. Recognizing Ken’s tremendous athletic ability, Bob helped Ken redirect his anger into sports, introduced him to Jesus Christ, helped him to eventually become a champion fighter, and even adopted him as his own son. After suffering a broken neck that could have killed him and being told that his athletic days were over, Ken was determined to succeed. He prayed and worked himself back to health and experienced a recovery that the doctors called "miraculous." Climbing to the pinnacle of success as a fighter, Ken’s personal life crashed around him, and he was brought to his knees. Ken cried out to God and fully committed his life to Jesus Christ, and his life was never the same. He now shares his faith and testimony of God's goodness and grace in his life with everyone who will listen.
