Divine Intervention: Episode # 90: Blind Paralytic Miraculously Healed by Jesus, Richard Tester

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we welcome Richard Tester. Richard was born in England 1961. He Immigrated to Australia in 1968. He gave his life to the Lord at a young age, but a traumatic event took place in his adult life that caused him to seriously question his faith. In February 1997, while working as a security guard, Richard was viciously attacked by a gang of youths and brutally beaten to within inches of his life. The resulting injuries Richard suffered, included a broken back, shattered kneecap, shattered tailbone and sarcoidosis, among other things, left Richard paralyzed, wheelchair bound and eventually completely blind. He did not walk for ten years, and was completely blind for five years. Richard slipped into a deep depression, questioning God and his own faith, but not all was lost. In 2006, he was invited to attend a prayer and healing service with Christian evangelist John Mellor, and while there, experienced a divine intervention in the form of a miraculous healing. He was able to get up out of his wheelchair and walk for the first time in ten years, and was able to see for the first time in five years! Since the time of his healing, Richard’s life has totally transformed, and he has been sharing his testimony of the healing power of Jesus with whoever will listen.
