Divine Intervention: Episode # 112: Musician, Entertainer and Author, Harris Haith

On this episode of Divine Intervention, we are joined by musician, entertainer and author, Harris Haith. The name Harris “The Total Entertainer” Haith has been heard in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Mr. Haith has been involved in various different entities throughout his illustrious career. Starting out as a song writer, his first song made the Top 40 Billboard Chart. As a recording artist his first solo record, "Show Me the Way," also made the charts. This only served to whet his appetite for the entertainment business. He then progressed into the artist management end of things and even had a stint as a stand-up comedian! Ultimately, writing was in his blood so he refocused on his first love and began to write books, screenplays and scored within the nation's top three percentile on the National Writers Institute exam. His book “Growing Up Laughing”, which gives a detailed account of his childhood growing up with legendary actor/comedian Eddie Murphy, was well received. Being a man of deeply rooted faith, Harris has an international Gospel festival in development entitled “Gospelthon." Launched in the summer of 2010, this festival unites renowned Gospel musical guests and ministries for one day of free music, holistic care and fun all in the name of Christ for the sake of reaching the unchurched. Harris Haith joins us on Divine Intervention to share about his life, career, faith, and the miraculous sequence of events through which God saw him through kidney failure.
